This time there are two enemies to fight, the Xemlix and the Enchanted. In book one, the Lapo people have fought against Xemlix to save human kind on Earth. This time the Xemlix are working hand in hand with the Enchanted. Although Maldrich and his men are familiar with the Enchanted, they cannot see them. Ava can and it’s up to her to battle them.
In The Enchantress, Ava falls under their spell and is becoming an Enchanted herself. She becomes a different person, full of rage, and if she can’t fight it off, she risks becoming one of them.

Loved it! As soon as I started reading it I knew I wouldn't be able to stop reading it. I just had to know what happened next. I adore Ava and Meldrick and can not wait to see what happens next.
Wonderful read all the way through. The only reason gave 4 and not 5 stars is because it just felt like something was missing or at least for me there could have been a little more depth to the story. I think some of the events happened too fast for me. Regardless, it was wonderful to read and I would definitely recommend it to others. I would also love to continue reading the series
Couldn't put the book down! From the first page til the end it keeps you enthralled! Can't wait to see what Ally writes next!
Very discriptive that i found myself able to imagine myself as watching a movie as I was reading. And while not one that is into romance novels there is just a hint that didn't turn me away from the book. Couldn't put the book down.
I enjoyed The Enchantress as much as I liked the first book. It is a fun read and has assorted magical adventures and characters. Looking forward to others in this series. I would recommend to those who enjoy fantasy to give these books aread.
The first book while enjoyable it did have its flaws. The author fixed the problems that I had with the first book with this sequel. I really feel that anyone who found the first book enjoyable will be pleasantly surprised that this is even better. The author is really digging deep with these characters and I could really feel for them. I connected with them in a way that I couldn't the first time. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.
The Enchantress is a page-turner. Each chapter made me want to know more -- about "the enchanted" and their plot as well as how the Ava and Meldrick relationship will develop. I was amazed by the language that appealed to all the senses and the range of emotions between the two main characters. On top of that, the mystery of extra powers that Ava is beginning to know, and the fantastic other-dimensional worlds make this story a rich treat for the eyes, the heart, and the imagination. Get it; you'll enjoy it!
